Well hello hello!

First of all, I had the most delicious green smoothie for breakfast this morning, easily made my day. You find out very quickly all of the little things you are grateful for, like green smoothies! Unfortunately I went to go pick up my package five minutes too late so I had to wait till the next afternoon to go get it, but no need to fear, we got two new girls in our room and one of them is diabetic so we have a mini fridge in our room and I just popped it in there and it froze as hard as a rock over night. I don't know if it was the fact here that the food here tastes like rubber, but that was muy delicioso! Oh speaking of food, the little dork room that I eat all of my glueten free food out of, is just a little room in the corner of the cafeteria and then everyone in our district eats together! Yay for bonding time. The Elders in our district are all just out of high school. I think one of them went to any college but they are... well they are boys. Elder Collins, Herbert, Clement, Gawrych, Wood, and Woods. And yes, Elder Wood and Elder Woods are companions! We have a very unique district... Every single person couldn't be more opposite than the next but we all get along really well!! The other two girls in our district are Hermana Steel and Hermana Anderson. Hermana Anderson lived in Australia and has been to New Zealand.. You can imagine the conversations we have about that! Those girls are in our room as well. The first week it was just us two and then we got two english speakers add in. They leave next week for Ireland/Scottland and then we imagine we get another more spacious week and then another round of chicas. Our room is rather crowded now but its nice to have a couple more girls in there. They are the sweetest. My companera Hermana Throckmorton is an angel. We were all talking about how lucky we were that the girls in our district get along really well, and watching how other districts don't, makes us a little bit nervous that our next companion isn't going to be as awesome! I do feel like I got really lucky with her. We could not be more opposite in every way but the fact that we are both missionaries but it works! So Easter was plain, it's a beautiful day but the day itself seemed just like another day in the MTC. We had Bishop Cause speak to us. Nobody will admit it, but we were all a little bummed that it wan't a general authority. Rumors are dangerous here. But then at the fireside that night Sister Sheri Dew came and spoke and it was incredible!! She is an amazing speaker and has a very strong testimony. Let me think of what else... We have started to get up a little bit before six every morning.. Going two days strong now! And amazingly.. the first day was partially my idea. They have something a little extra special for the Sisters here, They have a little fitness class every morning at six and so we've started to go to it. That was Thursday and we did yoga and today we got up at six again because we wanted to hit an early temple session so that we can have more time on our P-day to do... well.. to just do things. Write letters and do laundry oh and we get to go to the gym! Its a weird feeling living in this one block radius.. I feel like I have lived her my whole life and that anything that happened before was just a movie I had seen. Oh Mom, you asked about our teacher.. Teachers is more like it.. We were supposed to have two teachers, morning and afternoon, but they both have been gone a lot... weddings, funerals, sickness.. and our afternoon teacher was our investigator for the first week and a half, so we have had a grand total of twelve different teachers. They all just rotate through! I can't believe Gavin is going to Mexico! He is going to be an awesome missionary. If he has any questions about the MTC tell him to email me or better yet send me a letter! I'll fill him in on all of the tricks of this trade, like swiping your card backwards and upwards.. opens the door every time! If not you just look like a noobie trying to open the doors. Oh yes, we all have cards like the FBI that let us in the every building. A lot of people even have the belt clip that connects the card and extracts so they look like Paul Blart when they use it! Im excited for this weekend. We only have one more three hour block of class for the whole weekend because of conference! Its going to be a great weekend!
Okay mom, the only thing I want on that list is the natural glow lotion.. but I do need a couple other things like my grey knit beanie.. if you can find it! I miss it.. and the little things here, seem small but mean so much! Also I have about a million blackheads.. I don't know what to do.. any pore strips  you could get or suggestions? I have a bunch of really cute things that I will probably never wear..  and a couple I don't really like. So I'll try and send that today. Plus my ecco's I'm going to send them back and if there is any way to get them a 1/2 size bigger or maybe a full size.. that would be great. If not.. I'll deal with them but they are too tight for comfort. And I pair of shoes that are so cute but don't match anything. But my favorite pair is my black ballet flats! The most comfortable ever, whoever that girls was, she was right! Okay times up! Talk to you later!

Feliz Easter family

Well the first week is down and the days are starting to fly by. Thank you so much for the letters and the things you sent me! It was almost all of the contact I had with the outside world for the first week!  Today is my P-day (friday) and I can't believe that is already this far in the week. Those first few days do not move... at all. They feel more like weeks than days. But its been a good experience so far. The first night here I ran into Nate Monson and Dallin Frandsen!  Wednesday Madi Bernson and Kayla Orr got here so I get to see them wandering around here lost and confused. The news ones are easy to spot... they have that look in their face like "oh shoot, im going to be late and I have no idea where I'm going!"
So I am the sleep talker in my room. Go figure. but its changed a little bit now, I have now started to sleep talk in spanish. Oh by the way, the best way to email me now is to send them through DearElder because I get them the same day if you send it before noon and then I have a hard copy to go off of instead of my memory because the computers don't let you save drafts here.. so try that!! I would love it!
Some of the best things during class are when we get to watch video clips! Once they say that its like they say they brought candy to share with the class. One of my tricks to remembering the word "to bless" is to remember Dallin saying, bendice la comida. I never forget it! Sorry my letter is going to be all over the place. Lots has happened and no real way of organizing it! My companion is a  sweetheart though. Super nice, sweet, young girl from south jordan. Hermana Throckmorton, no I didn't make that up, and she is going to New Jersey as well! There are also two more Elders in our district going to NJ.  Elder Wood and Elder Woods... yea we weren't blessed with great companionship names! The food here is pretty good. They cater really well to people with allergies. I even get my own room to eat from! Its for the special people, like me! But they are very repetitive with the food, taco salads ALL THE TIME! but I can't complain... Ive been sleeping alright. I slept through the whole session at the temple this morning, I think I might have been a little tired. All else is good but I am out of time! I will write a letter home if I think of more to talk about. I usually do...

Love you all so much!!

ps, I need a couple things,
1. my letter from aubree if you find it
2. My retainer if you  find that as well.
3. my immunization record...
4. there was more but I forget everything!

LOVE YOU!
Hil

Oh we get to have a general authority come speak to us for Easter Sunday and i'll be singing in the choir that day! GO ME!

Welcome to Auschwitz‏

Well Hello family!
Okay its not as bad as Auschwitz.. So you'll never guess who the person in our room is who hears the alarm first and gets up, turns it off, and wakes up all of the other roommates. Yup me! Miracles do happen!! So first thing is first, My companions name is Sister Throckmorton from south jordan. yes it is a real name!! She's cute, a innocent little 19 year old. Super nice girl. We get along really well! And the other two girls in our room who are also in our zone are sister steel and sister anderson. They are both 21 as well. We have a lot of fun but are all really obedient. Its snowing today... not exactly happy about that because its so freaking cold that my eyes water whenever I go outside. spanish is coming along great. So the day we got here we dropped off our bags at our rooms and went straight to class. That was a little overwhelming and yesterday we had our first day of two, three hour spanish classes. I think i've already spent more time in spanish class then I did working on my whole class this semester. But its coming back. Last night we taught our first investigator in spanish and that was really neat, although he is a volunteer and its not exactly realistic, it was really fun and the spirit was really strong! Sister T and I are about on the same level of spanish, which we've been asked a couple times why we are in the beginning class but it makes it easier to learn because it seems like the things that I don' t know, she does and vice versa. Last night the four girls in our room prayed in spanish without any notes. look at us go! Best part of the day is gym time. So nice to work out. I ran on thursday and then played volleyball yesterday. Probably going to run again today because my ankle is feeling pretty good. So I lost my companion the first day for like an hour. Lunch is hectic and I had to go out of the special needs room, thats what I like to call it because its for all of the people that have a food allergy. But then she was nowhere to be found any time after that. But lo and behold, I did find her and all is well! Im trying to think about what else to write about... Oh thank you so much for the letters mom and dad!
Look who I found... Jaron!!
Elder Zach Bishop... my bud from Colorado

Our very feminine joseph smith picture in our building...
first day with our girls!
Sad snowy day
All's great here. Oh I was going to say, the best thing that you can do is write me on dear elder because I will be able to get my letter on the same day as your send it, and getting letters are AWESOME!! we finally got ours last night. Grandma and Aubrees mom wrote me on dear elder! Loved it! but then I don't spend my time reading the letter and I can spend my time (the little time that we have) and email instead of read.

The most annoying thing so far is having to wear garments with gym clothes, and not being able to leave the shower unless you are dressed. I hate getting dressed in the shower. Its gross. Lots and lots of rules but I actually don't mind any of them at all because its so obvious the reason behind all of them. And by the way, my companion had the worst gas. not me. my companion. Its rancid but she's so quiet and innocent that she doesn't say anything and just lets it pass. Its even worse than mine. The food does not sit well with her. I can't exactly think of what else to write about so do what I suggested if you want to know more. Send me a questionaire and I will fill in the blanks! Oh my preparation day is on Fridays. So next friday I will be able to email more.

Love you.
